Police Report

Moose Jaw Police received 30 calls for service. 

10:38 am – 200 blk Manitoba St E – Impaired Driving – Impaired adult was driving in a reckless manner with a child in the vehicle and collided with several stationary objects. Vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for impaired driving and criminal negligence after failing the roadside breath demand and registering breath samples nearly 3 times the legal limit. Subject’s license is suspended indefinitely and the vehicle was seized for 60 days. There were no injuries.

12:00 pm - 1000 blk Stadacona St E – Assault – Adult charged with assault after a confrontation turned violent. Accused arrested and released on no contact conditions and court at a later date.

12:50 pm - 200 blk Fairford St E – Wellbeing Check – Request to check on adult. Located and in need of medical assistance. Transported to hospital by EMS.

2:31pm 100 blk Athabasca St E – Disturbance – Adult noted yelling at cars and exposing himself. Located and found to be suffering from mental illness and upset with caregivers who were following behind the subject.

2:44 pm - 0 blk Fairford St E – Disturbance – Adult rowdy and upset inside an establishment. Arrested for public intoxication and held in cells until sober.

6:36 pm - 1000 blk Main St N – Disturbance – Adult causing problems in a care facility. Taken to hospital for treatment.

6:54 pm - 0 blk Stadacona St W – Possess Stolen Property – Several adults found in possession of stolen property. Charges pending.

8:11 pm - 1300 blk 11th Av SW – Breach Court Order – Adult contacting a subject they were on conditions not to as well as being intoxicated. Accused was located walking in traffic. Arrested and charged with 2 breaches. Held until sober.

8:47 pm - 1300 blk 11th Av SW – Assault – Intoxicated adult assaulted a stranger. Located and arrested. Held in cells until sober. Released on no contact conditions.

9:06 pm - 200 blk High St W – Dispute – Unwanted guest refusing to leave a residence. Parties separated and taken home.

10:00 pm - 800 blk MacDonald St – Collision – Single vehicle collision into a fence. No injuries, approximately $5000 damage. Vehicle towed. Driver charged with undue care and attention.

10:29 pm - 2 kilometers outside City – Collision – Assist RCMP with a collision on #1 highway.

1:31 am - 400 blk Saskatchewan St W – Flight from Police – Adult driver failed to stop for Police. Driver is known. Warrant issued.

 3:53 am - 300 blk Saskatchewan St E – Drug Possession – Adult found in possession of Marijuana and Methamphetamine. Charged and released for Court at a later date.
