Moose Jaw Police responded to 64 calls for service.   

8:03 am – Well Being Check - Concern was expressed for an adult not seen in a while.  The subject was located, and all was okay. 

8:38 am – Found Property – A wallet was turned in and the wallet was returned to the owner. 

9:46 am – Parking Bylaw – It was reported that a car hasn’t moved in 8 months. The tires were marked, and the owner was notified to move the vehicle. 

10:25 am – Fail to Appear – An adult failed to attend Court as required.  A warrant was issued. 

1:01 pm – Erratic Driving – A young driver was noted to have almost caused a collision.  The license plate was obtained.  This is still under investigation. 

1:39 pm – Assault – An assault from 2 days previous was being reported. This is still under investigation. 

2:48 pm – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was passed on a residential street, and a license plate was obtained.  The owner was to be spoken to. 

3:59 pm – Barking Dog – A dog was left out by a neighbor.  The dog was barking non-stop, and the owner was warned. 

4:41 pm – Found Property – A wallet was found on a walking path.  It was returned to the owner. 

5:40 pm – Collision – A collision occurred between a vehicle and pedestrian. A 5 year old ran out into traffic and was struck by a vehicle at low speed.  A minor injury resulted. 

5:39 pm – Barking Dog – A dog has been left outside, and the homeowner was warned. 

5:52 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A van was seized after a parking complaint was received, and Police discovered it was a hit and run suspect vehicle from a hit and run reported 2 days ago.  This is still under investigation. 

6:04 pm – Disturbance – A subject was causing a disturbance.  The subject jumped out a 2nd story window to avoid being arrested on warrants.  The subject was captured and held for court. 

8:20 pm – Flight from Police – The driver of a stolen vehicle fled from Police, left the city and other Police agencies were notified. The vehicle was stolen from Regina. 

8:37 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was not wanted in a local business.  They left with a Police escort. 

8:40 pm – Assist Sick Person – A subject was not feeling safe with themselves.  They were taken and transported to hospital. 

8:47 pm – Theft – A credit card was stolen and cash was obtained. This is still under investigation. 

9:19 pm – Insecurity – A business property gate was malfunctioning and not closing.  The key holder was located and secured the property. 

11:17 pm – Assault – An adult was assaulted and threatened.  There were minor injuries. Two adults were arrested after another incident.  The subjects were charged. 

1:18 am – Racing – Two vehicles racing on Main St were pulled over. The drivers were ticketed and the vehicles were seized for 30 days under the Traffic Safety Act. 

Police responded to eight 911 calls. 
Police executed three warrants.
