Moose Jaw Police responded to 55 calls for service.

8:44 am – Recovered Property – A vehicle was found abandoned.  It was towed to a secure compound.

9:25 am – Harassing Phone Calls – The caller has been receiving unwanted phone calls from an individual. Police provided advice to the caller.

9:46 am – Mischief – There was a report of an individual trying vehicle doors. Police attended and patrolled the area. The subject was gone prior to arrival.

10:16 am – Fraud/Other – There was a report of an individual attempting to use a stolen credit card at a place of business. This is still under investigation.

10:30 am – Unwanted Guest – An individual was loitering in a business where they have been banned. The subject left the premise.

10:57 am – Harassing Phone Calls – Two persons were receiving unwanted phone calls from an individual. This was a property dispute and the subject was warned.

11:00 am – Barking Dog – The owner was warned under the Barking Dog Bylaw.

11:32 am – Disturbance – An individual attended a business and was becoming verbally aggressive with staff members. Police attended and the subject was talking loudly, but nothing illegal was taking place.

11:43 am – Hit and Run – This occurred yesterday and was not reported. The city will be notified to repair the damaged culvert.

12:43 pm – Intoxicated Person – There was a report of an individual who was stumbling on the train tracks.  The area was searched, but the person was not located.

1:24 pm – Intoxicated Person – There was a report of an individual who appeared to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.

4:05 pm – Unwanted Guest – An individual was outside of a business and bothering people for money. The subject was gone prior to Police arrival.

5:25 pm – Hit and Run – This occurred while the vehicle was parked on a street. Approximately $500 in damages resulted.

6:31 pm – Harassing Phone Calls - – The caller has been receiving unwanted phone calls from an individual. Police determined the issue to be custody related and advised the caller to seek legal advice.

7:03 pm – Dispute/Other – There were a few reports of two individuals who were arguing. Police attended and the subject refused to provide a statement but was given a ride to a safe place.

7:53 pm – Erratic Driving – A dirt bike was being driven in an alley and playing "chicken" with a vehicle. Police made patrols and did not locate anyone driving a dirt bike.

10:05 pm – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of an extremely loud vehicle that continuously drives past a residential area and wakes up the residents. The vehicle owner was warned about the loud muffler.

10:53 pm – Break and Enter in Progress – A neighbor could see an unknown individual with a flashlight that was in a back yard. Police attended and the subject was spoken to.  This was not a break and enter.

11:42 pm – Harassing Phone Calls – The caller has been receiving unwanted phone calls from an individual. Police provided advice to both parties involved.

11:58 pm – Fraud/Other – A stolen bank card was being used at a local business. This is still under investigation.

12:14 am – Break and Enter – Business owners reported damage to their property. It was unknown if any items were taken or not. This is still under investigation.

12:28 am – Dispute/Other – There was a report of two individuals yelling and arguing with each on the street. Police checked the area and the subjects were gone prior to arrival.

2:25 am – Theft in Progress – An individual was found, by the owner, while attempting to steal items from a vehicle. Police checked the area and was unable to locate any suspect.

3:13 am – Suspicious Person – Two individuals were seen checking vehicles. Patrols were made of the area and nobody was located.

Police responded to seven 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
Police executed three warrants.
Police completed two curfew checks.
