Police and Fire Report for April 3-4

Moose Jaw Police responded to 52 calls for service.  

6:50 am – Dispute – This took place between two parties. A friend will pick up the individual. 

7:10 am - Break and Enter - Someone tried to grind the door on a garage overnight. 

9:13 am - Well Being Check – A complainant was spoken to and was taken to a family member. 

11:12 am – Dispute – A verbal disturbance occurred. The parties were separated, and the situation was mediated. 

11:59 am - Well Being Check – The subject was fine, and they were having troubles with their landline. 

1:03 pm – Dispute – This took place between two individuals. Police spoke to both parties, and the situation was mediated. 

1:15 pm - Theft in Progress – The subject stole from a store and is now banned. 

2:06 pm - Harassing Calls - Both parties were spoken to and agreed to not communicate with each other. 

2:39 pm – Dispute – Police spoke with both parties and were given advice on how to retrieve the property. 

2:57 pm - MVA Injury - Two vehicles were involved. There were some injuries. Approximately $10,000 in damages resulted. 

3:15 pm – Assault – The subject was arrested for assault and was held until sober. 

3:42 pm – MVA – Two vehicles were involved with no injuries. Approximately $50,000 of damage resulted. 

4:01 pm - Break and Enter- Someone entered a garage and stole items. This is still under investigation. 

4:58 pm - Bike Theft - A bike was stolen within the last 2 weeks. Approximately $600 in value. No suspects were reported. 

5:04 pm - Assist Ambulance - An individual was in cardiac arrest. This is still under investigation. 

5:07 pm – MVA - Damage was done to a bridge from another incident. 

5:25 pm - Suspicious Occurrence - An individual was not making sense and was taken to hospital. 

6:16 pm - Theft Under – A vehicle had lights stolen and was tampered with. No suspects were reported. 

6:19 pm - Dispute Between Neighbors – The neighbor was given advice. 

6:25 pm - Assist Ambulance – The subject was not feeling well. He was spoken to and is fine. 

7:10 pm - Suspicious Occurrence - An individual stopped a vehicle and asked a child to come to vehicle. 

7:33 pm - Assist Locate - An individual was located and is fine. They were left in the care of their family. 

8:20 pm – Dispute – An altercation took place between two individuals. Both parties were warned. 

8:28 pm - Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant was having issues with their medication. A family member will take the individual to a doctor. 

9:51 pm - Noise Bylaw – The homeowner was asked to turn down the music. They were warned of the bylaw. 

10:14 pm - Breach Undertaking – The complainant was told to have no further contact with an individual. 

10:17 pm - Unwanted Guest – The subject was asked to leave the premises. They were given some advice on options for staying. 

10:24 pm - Well Being Check – The subject was intoxicated at home and was going to go to bed. 

10:48 pm - Unwanted Guest – The subject was asked to move from the premises and they left willingly. 

11:27 pm – Disturbance – The subject was located and was sent on their way. 

12:50 am - Assistance to Sick Person – The subject was not in crisis and was given advice to go to hospital. 

4:19 am - Parking Bylaw - A vehicle was parked on the lawn. The landlord was to be spoken to.
