Moose Jaw Police responded to 28 calls for service.

8:42 am - 400 block North Service Road – Shoplifting – Merchandise was stolen by a subject who then got on the Greyhound bus. Police are still investigating to follow up with the Swift Current RCMP.

10:29hrs - 800 block Chester Road – Dispute - Police were notified of two adults arguing; the situation was rectified prior to police arrival.

11:43 am - 600 block Main St N - Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant was concerned about scents coming into the apartment via her vents. The Fire Department advised that the scents may be coming from several locations. They were advised to contact the Rentalsman if it continues. This is not a police matter and there are no safety concerns.

12:40 pm - 700 block Ominica St E - Parking Bylaw – A complaint called about his vehicle being stuck between two other parked vehicles. He couldn’t get out to attend his important appointment. Police attended and assisted the complainant in getting the vehicle out.

2:33 pm - 0 block Athabasca St E – MVA – A vehicle lost control on ice and struck a barricade. This caused approximately $1000 in damage. No one was injured, but the vehicle required a tow.

4:38 pm - 1500 block Main St N - Erratic Driving – A red Chev Camaro was weaving in and out of traffic, almost causing three accidents. The license plate number was obtained and police are still investigating to follow up with the registered owner.

8:08 pm - Thatcher Drive E - Driving Impaired – This was unfounded. The vehicle was located, and an elderly driver was warned.

8:12 pm - 900 block Athabasca St W - Barking Dog – The owner was warned about the barking dog bylaw.

10:54 pm - 1200 block Irving Av - Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was partially blocking the driveway. A ticket was issued for illegal parking.

2:30 am – 1100 block Caribou St W – Assist EMS – Emergency services phones were down across the province. Police assisted in notifying EMS of a call for service.  Sasktel has since rectified the problem.

3:27 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Intoxicated Person – A taxi driver found an adult passed out in back of the cab. They brought the subject to police, who transported them to their residence.
