Moose Jaw Police responded to 38 calls for service.

11:34 am – 200 Block 1st Av NW– Trespass – A subject previously banned from a property was observed to be on the property.  Police are still investigating to obtain video and statements.

12:50 pm – 1200 Block Willow Av – Dispute – A complainant was receiving unwanted communication and was concerned for other party’s behaviour.  Advice and options were provided.

1:17 pm – 300 Block Ominica St W – Found Property – A wallet containing ID and cash was turned in to police.  The owner was contacted to attend the police station to retrieve the property.

1:28 pm – 0 Block Fairford St W – Motor Vehicle Accident – A vehicle hit three parked vehicles, resulting in approximately $15 000 of damage and one tow.  A licence review is to be submitted to SGI.

2:24 pm – 100 Block 1st Av NE – Motor Vehicle Accident – A two vehicle non-reportable collision occurred.  Police assisted with a name exchange.

2:29 pm – 800 Block Hochelaga St E – Well Being Check – A complainant was unable to reach the subject.  Police attended the residence and the subject was fine.

3:03 pm – 800 Block 6th Av NW – Well Being Check – There was a request to check on a subject after concerning comments were made.  Police spoke with the subject and their family, and everything was okay.

3:21 pm – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Hit & Run – This occurred approximately one month ago, causing approximately $1500 of damage.

3:51 pm – 1200 Block 11th Av SW – Dispute Between Neighbours – A neighbour keeps knocking on the complainant’s door, trying to offer baked goods.  The complainant was advised that this is not a police matter.

4:28 pm – 100 Block Duffield St W – Breach Court Order – A subject was contacting a complainant while on court orders not to.  A statement was obtained and charges are pending.

5:30 pm – 200 Block Coteau St W – Unwanted Guest – A subject was refusing to leave the residence.  Police attended and detained the subject on outstanding warrants.  They were held for court.

6:37 pm – 900 Block Vaughan St – Insecurity – There was an insecure back door at a residence.  Police attended and the residence was cleared.

6:50 pm – 900 Block 9th Av Sw – Attempted Break & Enter – This occurred on February 13. An unknown male attempted to enter through a back door, and a description was obtained.  Police continue to investigate.

7:54 pm – Connaught Av at Saskatchewan St – Towed Vehicle – A car was blocking a driveway. Police were unable to locate the registered owner and the vehicle was towed.

9:05 pm – 100 Block Manitoba St E – Intoxicated Person – A subject was causing issues, refusing to leave the establishment.  Police attended and detained the subject for being drunk in public. The individual was held in police cells until sober.

10:52 pm – 300 Block Stadacona St W – Motor Vehicle Accident – There was a two vehicle collision resulting in approximately $25 000 of damage, one minor injury and two vehicles being towed.  One driver was issued two tickets for driving without a licence and failing to exchange information at the scene of the accident. The individual fled the accident scene on foot.  The subject was located at a residence in the area.

10:57 pm – 800 Block 3rd Av NW – Public Mischief – A subject called police via 911 to report a vehicle being stolen.  Police were investigating an accident in which a vehicle was involved and the driver fled the scene.  Police attended the residence and obtained a statement from the subject, who was subsequently charged with filing a false police report.

1:58 am – 0 Block Fairford St E – Intoxicated Person – A subject was refusing to leave, and became aggressive.  Police attended and detained the subject for being drunk in public. The individual was held in police cells until sober.  The subject was issued a ticket for refusing to leave a licensed premise.

2:55 am – 1000 Block Caribou St W – Impaired Driving – While on routine patrol police conducted a vehicle stop which resulted in an ASD demand.  The result of the ASD demand was a ‘fail’ and the driver was subsequently charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08 BAC.  The vehicle was seized for 60 days.  The subject was held until sober and released to appear in court at a later date.
