Moose Jaw Police responded to 51 calls for service.

8:47 am – 0 Block Diefenbaker Dr – Unwanted Guest – A subject was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.  The subject was located and removed from the premises.

9:59 am – 600 Block Stadacona St E – Theft Under – A cell phone was taken off a desk, and the suspect was known.  The cell phone was located and returned to the owner.

10:03 am – 1000 Block Clifton Av – Theft from Vehicle – An unlocked vehicle was entered and various identifiable property was taken.  The property was added to the database as stolen. 

10:40 am – 1400 Block Normandy Dr – Harassing Communication – A complainant was contacted regarding an outstanding debt.  The complainant was advised that it is a civil matter.

12:47 pm – 1300 Block Manitou Cr – Assist to Locate – A gentleman left the residence at approximately 10:00 am to wash a car and had not returned. He has health conditions and may be disoriented.  Various locations in Moose Jaw were checked with negative results.  Information was forwarded to RCMP to assist.  The subject was located by the Canada/US border, received medical attention, and was returned home.

12:52 pm – 500 Block 9^th Av SW – Nuisance Communication – A subject was videotaping while waiting for an order and told staff it was for blogging and Facebook. The staff did not give permission.  The subject was spoken to, and the staff was not in the videos.

12:53 pm – 300 Block Ominica St W – Found Property – A switchblade knife was found on the ground.  It was picked up by police for disposal.

1:31 pm – 300 Block Thatcher Dr E – Lost Property – An IPhone 6, silver & black in color was lost somewhere in the area on Tuesday.  This was reported for informational purposes.

2:25 pm – 100 Block Fairford St E – Harassing Communication – A complainant was being harassed over money.  Police are to speak with the offending party.

3:10 pm – 1400 Block 9^th Av NE – Dispute – There was a family dispute over a vehicle.  The situation was mediated and the vehicle was returned to the owner.

3:48 pm – 900 Block Stadacona St W – Fraud – Money was transferred to the account for their son but they were unsure if their son received the money.

4:41 pm – 1100 Block Vaughan St – Hit & Run – This occurred sometime since Tuesday, with approximately $4000 of damage to the front driver’s side bumper.

4:48 pm – 400 Block Fairford St W – Dangerous Driving – The plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle that appeared to swerve and hit the complainant.  The complainant advised that there were ongoing issues.  Police are to speak with both parties.

5:59 pm – 500 Block Hochelaga St E – Mischief – An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing and there was no damage.  This was reported for informational purposes.

7:33 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Assault – There was an altercation between two subjects, which resulted in one being injured.  The subject was checked out by EMS and sent on their way as uncooperative.

8:43 pm – Main St N At River St E – MVA with Injury – There was a vehicle vs pedestrians situation, causing approximately $1200 of damage. Both pedestrians were injured and the driver was charged for failing to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.  The pedestrians were transported to the hospital by EMS to be checked out further.

9:33 pm – 0 Block Home St E – Unwanted Guest – A complainant wished for three parties to be removed from a residence.  Police attended and the parties left. One was arrested on outstanding warrants, held until sober, and released for court at a later date.

9:50 pm – 1300 Block 11^th Av SW – Theft Under – There was no theft. It was a civil dispute over property.

10:31 pm – 200 Block Manitoba St E – Break & Enter – There was no break and enter.  The complainant wished for people to be removed from the residence; however, they left prior to police arrival.

3:51 am – 1200 Block 11^th Av SW – Suspicious Occurrence – An intoxicated complainant felt like someone was outside apartment, and they were concerned for their safety.  Police attended and no one was located outside. They spoke with the complainant, who advised they would go to bed.
