Moose Jaw Police responded to 56 calls for service.

10:17 am – 1100 Block Main St N – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated that it appeared that someone entered the house headfirst, potentially breaking and entering. Police attended to the residence and spoke with the tenants, who stated that all was fine.

10:30 am – 1000 Block 4th Av NE – Harassing Calls – A complainant stated that they were being harassed over the internet. Police found that it was a dispute over Facebook that the complainant wanted documented. Advice was given.

10:54 am – 0 Block High St W – Theft Under – A complainant stated that money had been taken from his account via a stolen debit card. Police are investigating in order to obtain video surveillance and find the suspect.

11:22 am – 800 Block Grey Av – Theft Under – An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime Saturday night. It appeared to have just been rummaged through, and nothing was taken. This was reported for informational purposes.

11:27 am – 1500 Block 9th Av NE – Theft Under – There was a gas drive-off that occurred the day prior. Police are investigating in order to retrieve video surveillance.

11:48 am – 400 Block Langdon Cres – Theft Under – A licence plate was removed from a vehicle. This was reported for informational purposes, and the complainant was advised to contact SGI immediately.

12:29 pm – 1000 Block Algoma Av – Suspicious Person – A complainant stated that it appeared there was a person searching vehicles and potentially entering them in the area. Police attended and did not find anyone who matched the description.

1:04 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Dispute – A complainant called in, stating that one person confronted another and that the situation got heated as one party was just there to cause problems. The complainant wanted to speak with an officer and discuss options with the one party, who was an ex.

3:10 pm – 1700 Block Main St N – Suspicious Person – In the last handful of days a person has not paid their bill or come out of the room. Police attended to do a well-being check with EMS. The person was cleared medically, and it was left as a civil dispute between the business and the person.

3:46 pm – 1200 Block 5th Av NW – Dispute – A dog attacked another dog. The complainant just wished for the incident to be documented as the owners had come to a civil agreement amongst themselves.

4:32 pm – 13th Av SW at Vaughan St – Mischief – Persons in the area were playing with a tire, running it into vehicles. Police attended to the area and did not find anyone, but they did find the tire. The tire was brought to the station and exhibited.

5:35 pm – 1000 Block Redland Av – Recovered Stolen Auto – A vehicle that was reported stolen the day prior was recovered in the area. Witnesses stated that someone was seen parking the vehicle and leaving the area. The vehicle was brought into the station for identification purposes and the owner was notified.

6:18 pm – 800 Block Coteau St W – Dispute – A person was repeatedly texting/contacting the complainant. The complainant was advised to block the number but refuses to do so. Police are investigating to contact the opposing party to request them to stop.

9:03 pm – 1200 Block 12th Av SW – Threats – A complainant was receiving threats via text messages. They were advised to block and remove the persons threatening them via devices.

10:48 pm – 9th Av SW at Lillooet St W – Intoxicated Person – A person was walking in the middle of the bridge headed north, not wearing shoes. Police attended and brought the intoxicated person back to cells before transporting them to hospital to attend to some injuries.

11:47 pm – Caribou St W at Monk St – Robbery – The complainant did not see who did it, she just felt what happened. Her purse was stolen.

12:10 am – 800 Block Hochelaga St W – Domestic – An argument ensued between two people, with one party being destructive. The complainant went to the neighbours to call police, and the police attended and mediated the situation.

12:58 am – 600 Block Fairford St E – Domestic – Two people were yelling profusely at one another. Police attended and mediated the situation.

1:15 am – 1100 Block Coteau St W – A person found to be banging on another person’s back door. The complainant did not know who this person was and wanted them removed. Police attended and arrested a person on public intoxication.

3:20 am – 400 Block Ominica St E – Suspicious Person – An individual appeared to be rummaging through vehicles in the area.

Police responded to five 911 calls.
Police executed two warrants.
Police assisted other agencies in fourteen cases.
