The Moose Jaw Police responded to 54 calls for service. 

8:25 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Breach of Court Order – Police issued a warrant for a failure to appear for fingerprints.

9:29 am – 1800 block Stadacona St W – Break and Enter – A trailer compound was broken into. A trailer was stolen and there was approximately $2 500 worth of damage to the fence. Police are still investigating.

10:05 am – 1100 block 7th Av NW – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was completely blocking a complainant’s driveway. Police issued a ticket to the registered owner.

10:09 am - 1000 block James St – Dispute – There was a dispute concerning harassing communication. This was mediated by police and one subject left the premises.

10:22 am – 1700 block Main St N – Theft – Sometime overnight a complainant’s Alberta license plate (BGB5050) was stolen. The license plate is to be added to the database as stolen.

10:48 am – 1200 block Main St N – Fraud – Two adults ran out of an establishment without paying for their tab. One suspect was named and the investigation is ongoing.

11:03 am – 1100 block 6th Av NW – Parking Bylaw – There was a vehicle blocking a driveway. The registered owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.

12:06 pm – 1200 block Main St N – Motor Vehicle Collision – A subject drove in front of a tow truck and collided with it. The driver then hit a light post. Both vehicles were damaged, resulting in approximately $6 000 of damage. One vehicle was towed and one ticket was issued for failing to yield when turning left.

12:08 pm – 400 block Thatcher Dr E – Theft – An adult stole items from an unlocked vehicle. The subject was located and charged with theft and breach of a court order.

12:29 pm – 500 block Laurier St – Dispute – Two subjects were involved in a dispute. Advice was given to them by police on how to resolve their dispute.

3:22 pm – 0 block Thatcher Dr E – Motor Vehicle Collision – An adult was struck by a vehicle, which resulted in a knee injury. Police are still investigating for possible charges.

3:46 pm – 900 block Main St N - Disturbance – A complainant reported seeing minors engaging in a physical altercation. The subjects were separated.

3:48 pm – 1400 Sioux Cr – Threats – A subject had made threatening comments to the complainant and their family; the incident is still under investigation.

6:04 pm – 600 block Main St N – Theft – Personal items were stolen from an establishment. Video of the suspect was obtained. The investigation is still ongoing.

12:34 am – 0 block Manitoba St W – Unwanted Guest – An adult was refusing to leave an establishment. The subject left upon police request.

12:56 am – 800 block Algoma Av – Motor Vehicle Collision – A vehicle collided with a tree. The vehicle was towed and there was $15 000 of damage.

4:28 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Assist Sick Person – A subject was taken to the hospital voluntarily.

Police charged six with failing to appear in court.
Police responded to six 911 calls.
Police assisted one other agency.
Police executed three warrants.
Police responded to two alarm calls.
