Moose Jaw Police responded to 46 calls for service.

7:50 am - 800 Block Stadacona St W - Motor Vehicle Accident With Injury – Police responded to a two- vehicle accident. There were two minor injuries, the damage was estimated at $30,000, and both vehicles were towed. One driver was issued a 72-hour suspension.

9:28 am -1700 Block Main St N – Well-Being Check – A subject was located and advised officers that he was fine and didn't want any further police assistance at this time.

11:12 am - 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Police are investigating a possible assault and plan to obtain statements from the subjects involved.

12:33 pm - 9th Ave SW at Coteau St W - Dangerous Driving – There was a report of a driver on their cell phone while passing vehicles. The plate number was obtained. The vehicle was not located in the area, and police are still investigating to speak to the registered owner.

1:34 pm - 0 Block Lillooet St W – Dispute – Advice was given to a complainant who was seeking options in dealing with a landlord/tenant dispute.

1:39 pm - 800 Block Athabasca St E - Bike Theft – An owner reported that their bike was stolen yesterday. A description was given to police in case it is located and turned in, and this was reported for informational purposes.

3:52 pm - 1000 Block James St - Police are investigating a possible fraud. This is still under investigation.

3:53 pm - 400 Block Athabasca St E - Theft from Vehicle - Sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered. A small amount of cash and a wallet containing ID were taken. The owner didn't wish to speak to an officer but only wanted it reported for informational purposes.

4:09 pm - Chester Rd at Thatcher Dr E - Hit and Run – A suspect vehicle hit another vehicle at the intersection and left the area without stopping to exchange driver information. A plate number was obtained, and the driver of the offending vehicle was issued tickets for disobey a stop sign and failing to remain.

8:54 pm - 900 Block Montgomery St - Suspicious Vehicle – There was a report of a vehicle parked on the street blocking the driving lane. Police attended, obtained a plate and tracked down the registered owner. The subject stated that the vehicle was parked in the driveway but slid onto the street due to the icy conditions. The owner parked the vehicle legally on the street so it wouldn't slide.

10:03 pm - 800 Block Thatcher Dr E - Hit and Run - A vehicle hit a parked vehicle in the parking lot and left without notifying the owner of the damage. The vehicle was located in another parking lot with no one around. As the vehicle was registered to a business, police continue to investigate to locate the driver involved. The damage is estimated at $2,000.

10:47 pm - 0 Block Arrowhead Rd - Suspicious Person – There was a report of an unknown person trying the door handle of a back door, but they left prior to the call to police. The area was searched but the subject was not located.

10:57 pm - 1000 Block Willow Ave – Well-Being Check - A request was made for police to do a well-being check on a subject who hasn't been taking their medicine. The subject was located and advised for the most part they felt OK. Police took the subject to the hospital, as per their wishes, in order to be checked over by medical staff.

11:29 pm - 900 Block Normandy Dr - Assistance to Sick Person - Police attended and located the subject. EMS was contacted to provide medical care for the subject, who was taken to the hospital by EMS for further treatment.

12:03 am - 0 Block  Marigold  Cr - Theft - Christmas ornaments were stolen. The ornament was  located  in  the  area and a possible suspect was located in the area. The individual was held in cells  until sober and is to  be charged  with  breach  and released for a later court date.

12:10 am – 400 Block Wood Lily Dr – Motor Vehicle Accident – While searching for the subject who stole Christmas decorations, police came upon a single vehicle accident with the vehicle having significant front end damage, still running and with the air bags deployed. The vehicle had crashed into a transformer, pushing it out of place and exposing several wires. SaskPower was called out to fix the transformer, and the fire department was called out to clean up the leaking fluids. Damage is estimated at $20,000. Samples of DNA were obtained for analysis, and the vehicle was towed for processing. Police continue to investigate.

12:45 am - 800 Block Hochelaga St E – There was a dispute between two parties. Police spoke to both parties involved, mediated the situation, and provided the complainant with options.
