Moose Jaw Police responded to 52 calls for service.

7:46 am – 9th Ave NW at Athabasca St W – Two Vehicle Collision – One injured person was transported to hospital. Two vehicles were towed and the damage is estimated at $25,000. One driver was charged with following too close.

10:16 am – 0 block Stadacona St W – Mischief – A collection item was damaged. Police continue to investigate.

11:17 am – 1100 block Grafton Ave – Nuisance Communication – An individual was receiving harassing communication via text and social media. This was reported to police for information purposes.

11:40 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Assault – Police are still investigating.

12:35 pm – 200 block Hochelaga St W – Assistance to Sick Person – An adult was taken to hospital and was admitted.

1:15 pm – 500 block Athabasca St W – Dispute – There was a verbal argument between family members. The parties were separated prior to police arrival, and the situation was mediated.

1:20 pm – 300 block Oxford St W – Dispute – Police are still investigating.

1:28 pm – 700 block Ominica St E – Dispute – Police mediated the situation.

1:26 pm – 0 block Wood Lily Dr – Fraud – A complainant was defrauded of $40,000 through a phone scam. Police continue to investigate.

2:15 pm – 0 block Thatcher Dr E – Hit & Run to Vehicle – There was damage to a truck box estimated at $500.

3:00 pm – 100 block Oxford St W – Nuisance Communication – Unwanted messages were posted on social media. Police are investigating.

3:56 pm – 300 block Ross St W – Threats – Police are investigating.

5:05 pm – 100 block Iroquois St W – Dispute – An alcohol-fuelled dispute among family members was mediated.

5:49 pm – 1300 block 6th Ave NW – Break & Enter – This was unfounded. The resident did not have a key and pried a window open.

5:55 pm – Main St N at Ominica St W – Minor Collision – A complainant on an electric scooter was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street. The vehicle description was obtained. Police continue to investigate.

6:16 pm – 800 block 4th Ave SW – Unwanted Guest – The subject lives in the same building as the complainant and is not an unwanted guest. The complainant was advised to contact the landlord.

6:17 pm – 800 block Keith St – Two Vehicle Collision – One vehicle had an out-of-province plate. The damage is estimated at $5,000. Police facilitated a name exchange.

8:07 pm – 400 block Main St N – Theft of Wallet – A suspect was identified and police are investigating.

11:07 pm – 500 block Laurier St – Driving Impaired – There was an argument between parties, which  resulted in one wanting to leave with a vehicle while intoxicated, but the individual decided not to. The situation was mediated.

11:11 pm – 200 block High St W – Noise Complaint – A resident was warned under the noise bylaw.

1:38 am – 900 block Vaughan St – Dispute – The parties were separated and the situation was mediated.

3:31am – 0 block Fairford St W – Assist Locate – A subject was spoken to and was on her way home.

4:19 am – 900 block Main St N – Disturbance – Police spoke to parties located in the area. No police assistance was needed. An adult was subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants.

5:04 am – Main St S at Manitoba St E – Driving Impaired – A vehicle was located at the registered owner’s residence; however, there was no answer at the door. Police are investigating.

Police assisted other government agencies in two cases.
Police undertook two curfew checks.
Police responded to twelve 911 calls.
Police charged three with failing to appear in court.
Police executed three warrants.
