Moose Jaw Police responded to 51 calls for service.

8:57 am – 300 Block 4th Av SW – Mischief– The windshield was smashed on a vehicle, and rocks were thrown at other windows.  There are pictures and video of a suspect committing the offence.  Police continue to investigate for charges.

9:12 am – 1100 Block 4th Av NE – Well-Being Check – A subject was having troubles getting from their vehicle to their residence and was assisted by the complainant and a taxi driver.  The subject was fine and has known medical conditions.

10:07 am – 1100 Block Main St N – Bike Theft – A bike was stolen from a backyard sometime last night.  The incident was reported for informational purposes.

10:24 am – 600 Block Hochelaga St W – Harassing/Nuisance Communication – There was unwanted and repeated communication.  The subject responsible is to be spoken to.

11:03 am – 1000 Block 1st Av NE – Mischief – Sometime overnight the tires on a vehicle were slashed.  The incident was reported for informational purposes.

11:12 am – 0 Block Wood Lily Dr – Found Property – A wallet with ID was located and turned in to Police.  The property was returned to its rightful owner.

12:39 pm – 800 Block 5th Av  - Barking Dog – Two small dogs breached a gate and were barking at children walking to school.  The owner of the dogs was contacted and advised to fix the gate.

1:20 pm – 500 Block 1st Av NW – Theft Under/Trespass – A subject previously banned from the premises went on the property and stole.  Video was obtained from the business.  The subject is to be charged.

1:47 pm – 7th Av NW at Hall St W – Breach Court Order – A subject was found to be in breach of court order, charged, and released for court at a later date.

3:20 pm – 100 Block Fairford St E – Hit & Run – There was approximately $1000 in damage to the driver’s side of a vehicle.  There are no suspects or witnesses.

3:50 pm – 900 Block Brown St – Harassing Communication – Unwanted communication was being received.  This was reported for informational purposes.

4:13 pm – 1000 Block 12th Av SW – Bike Theft – A black “We the People” BMX bike was stolen from a school.  The bike was added to the database as stolen.

4:30 pm – 1000 Block Monk Av – Dispute – A neighbour’s lawnmower shot a rock at a window, smashing it.  The neighbour was spoken to; however, the parties could not come up with deal to fix it.  Police are to mediate the situation.

5:04 pm – 400 Block 9th Av SW – Breach Court Order – Police continue to investigate for charges.

5:29 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – Mischief – On September 15, a vehicle was smashed up by a subject known to the complainant.  The complainant only wished to report the incident for informational purposes.

7:26 pm – Thatcher Dr W at Avens Rd – Vehicle Fire – There was a mechanical failure on a vehicle, which caused a fire.

10:37 pm – 0 Block High St E – Unwanted Guest – The complainant wished to have a subject removed from an apartment.  Prior to Police arrival, the subject left.

10:58 pm – 800 Block Willow Av – Mischief – Glass was smashed in the street, which woke up some residents.  Police attended the area; however, there were no suspects or witnesses.

11:29 pm – 1600 Block Main St N – Assault/Disturbance – There was an altercation between two intoxicated parties.  The parties were separated and sent on their ways.  Police are still investigating to obtain statements for possible charges.

2:34 am – 100 Block Main St N – Intoxicated Person – An intoxicated subject was sleeping by ATMs.  The subject was detained for being drunk in public and was held until sober.
