Moose Jaw Police responded to 37 calls for service. 

7:58 am – MVA – Police responded to a 2 vehicle accident. There was one minor injury and one ticket was issued for driving without due care. Approximately $20,000 worth of damage resulted.

8:23 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant called in to report drug paraphernalia they had found. Police picked up the item and it was seized for disposal.

12:53 am – Traffic Obstruction – Police received call about a vehicle abandoned in a turning lane. Police contacted the owner and stated it had broken down – it was moved immediately.

1:22 pm – Assault – The subject was charged with assault that occurred a couple days prior.

1:49 pm – Threats – A complainant was looking for advice regarding threats from a known person. 

3:16 pm – Landlord/Tenant Situation – Suspicious occurrences were happening in an apartment with the tenants. Options were provided.

3:21 pm – Suspicious Person – A subject was wandering around a public place and seemed confused. The subject was taken to hospital and left in the care of hospital staff.

5:11 pm – Assault – Police were dispatched to an assault in a dwelling unit. The subject left prior to the call and a warrant was issued.

6:35 pm – Shoplifting – Police attended to business in regards to a theft in progress. The subject was arrested and charged.

6:56 pm – Intoxicated Person – A guest was refusing to leave. Police attended and the subject was held in cells until sober.

7:11 pm – Dispute – Police attended to the address and the dispute was mediated.

Police responded to five 911 calls.
PACT responded on three occasions.
Police assisted other agencies in two cases.
