Moose Jaw Police responded to 36 calls for service. 

8:07 am – Vehicle Seizure – An adult was driving while suspended. The vehicle was seized for 30 days on behalf of SGI.

8:42 am – Barking Dog – An ongoing problem with a dog barking was reported.  The owner was warned.

8:55 am – Parking Concern – Vehicles were parking around schools obstructing buses from dropping kids off.  Parents are reminded to obey all signage around schools for child safety and flow of traffic.

9:24 am – Theft – Radiators and aluminum were stolen from a compound. The associated businesses were alerted to be on the lookout and this is still under investigation.

12:37 pm – Shoplifting – An adult shoplifter is to be identified. This is still under investigation.

12:41 pm – Alcohol and Gaming Act – Two adults were drinking and saying mean things to teens walking by. The subjects were warned and sent on their way.

12:52 pm – Breach Court Order – An adult failed to comply with a court order. A warrant was issued.

2:04 pm – Theft – An adult was noted stealing from a vehicle. This was unfounded, as the adult was the owner of the vehicle.

4:51 pm – Theft – An adult was noted climbing into a Community Living Bin.  The adult was warned for theft.

4:55 pm – Disturbance – An adult was refusing to leave property when asked.  The subject was having health issues and was taken to hospital.

5:05 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked in a loading zone for over an hour.  A ticket was issued.

5:24 pm – Collision – A vehicle from Ontario collided with a pole.  No injuries were reported and there was $2000 of damage.

7:40 pm – Assist EMS – The subject was taken to hospital and left in their care.

11:09 pm – Dispute – A dispute occurred between two adults over property.  Both parties were spoken to.

11:44 pm – Noise Bylaw – A loud semi parked.  The driver was spoken to and took the truck to a truck stop for the night.

12:56 am – Assault with Weapon – An adult was hit with a hatchet several days ago. The suspect is known.  This is still under investigation for charges.

1:19 am – Assist Sick Person – The subject was taken to hospital by EMS.

3:57 am – Disturbing the Peace – An adult was outside yelling.  This was regarding relationship issues, and the subject was sent home.

Police responded to five 911 calls.
Police executed three warrants.
