Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

7:33 am – Breach Court Order – This was unfounded and was an ongoing custody dispute.

9:04 am – Mischief – Graffiti was found as well as an empty paint can. Police are still investigating.

9:25 am – Mischief – An adult on foot was causing traffic problems.  They were arrested on outstanding warrants.

10:25 am – Disturbance – An adult was causing a disturbance, and the suspect was known. This is still under investigation.

2:05 pm – Collision – Two vehicles collided, with one minor injury and approximately $60,000 of damage.  One person was charged with failing to yield the right of way.

3:03 pm – Fraud – An adult was contacted by a “friend” but it was really a fake account. They lost $2200 in a fake application for a government bond.  A report was taken.

3:06 pm – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was being driven at high speeds consistently. The license plate was obtained.  The vehicle owner was warned.

3:30 pm – Suspicious Person – An adult was yelling and trying to drink puddle water with a Mason jar.  They were located and arrested on outstanding warrants.  The individual was held until sober and released for court at a later date.

5:06 pm – Theft – License plate 595LIV was stolen.  It was added to CPIC.  This is still under investigation.

5:12 pm – Auto Theft – A black Hyundai with Alberta license plate E20918 was stolen with keys.  This was added to CPIC.  This is still under investigation.

8:17 pm – Assault – An adult was struck in the face, and the suspect was known.  This is still under investigation.

8:34 pm – Disturbance – Children were sitting next to the river bank.  One child slipped.  The children were not injured and climbed out.  The children were spoken to at home.

9:53 pm – Breach Court Order – An adult was not home as per their Electronic Monitoring.  They were charged with breach and a warrant was issued.

3:26 am – Noise Bylaw – Loud music. The homeowner was warned as per the complainant’s wishes.
