Moose Jaw Police responded to 31 calls for service.

12:31 pm – Fraud – An email phishing scam was reported, and a business is now out $8400.00. This is still under investigation.  

1:22 pm – Shoplifting – A youth subject was caught stealing from a business. The youth was charged with theft and notice to a parent was completed.  

2:25 pm – Drugs Traffic – It was suspected drugs were being trafficked. A plate number, vehicle description and other information were given to be passed on for investigation.

2:26 pm – Fraud – A complainant reported that a subject had stolen cheques and was depositing money from an account. This is still under investigation.  

3:32 pm –Driving Erratic – The subject shot rocks at the complainant’s vehicle, and the registered owner is to be spoken to regarding their driving actions.

5:36 pm – Assistance to Sick Person – An unwell subject was located. The subject was left in the care of the hospital.  

6:03 pm – Theft Under – A complainant had items stolen. Information was taken, and this is still under investigation.

6:34 pm – Driving Erratic – A subject was driving recklessly. One ticket was issued for driving without reasonable consideration for others.

7:38 pm – Driving Erratic – A subject was driving recklessly. The subject was warned for their driving actions.  

8:19 pm – Intoxicated Person – The complainant was worried about the well-being of the subject. The subject was located at home and advised they were staying in for the rest of the night.  

9:52 pm – Dispute – A verbal dispute took place between parties. The situation was mediated.  

10:18 pm – Noise Bylaw – A complainant reported the subject had been noisy for several days. The subject was warned under the noise bylaw.

11:11 pm – Assist to Locate – A youth subject was missing and the complainant was worried about the well-being of the youth. The youth was located in good health and returned home.  

11:13 pm – Noise Bylaw – A complainant called to report loud music and noises. The subject was warned under the noise bylaw and turned the music down.

2:57 am – Mischief – Tires were slashed on several vehicles in the neighbourhood.  Two people are in custody. This is still under investigation.

4:07 am – Obstruct a Peace Officer – One adult and one youth were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer and possessing proceeds of crime.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police executed one warrant.
Police completed two curfew checks.
