Moose Jaw Police responded to 60 calls for service.

7:03 am – Theft from Vehicle– Sometime overnight property was stolen from a vehicle that had a window left down.

7:11 am – Hit & Run – Sometime between the hours of 5:30-7:00AM a power pole was hit by a semi causing approximately $5000 damage.

8:54 am – Break & Enter – There was an attempted entry through the front and rear door, and property left behind was seized.  Police continue to investigate.

9:59 am – Mischief – Tires on a bicycle were slashed causing approximately $20 damage.  This was reported for informational purposes.

10:19 am – Intoxicated Person – A subject believed to be intoxicated was causing employees and customers to feel uncomfortable.  Police spoke with the subject who was sent on their way.

11:02 am – Theft – Extension cords were stolen from a parking lot.  This was reported for informational purposes.

11:34 am – Theft – Two subjects were reportedly checking ashtrays and vehicles in a parking lot.  A plate number and vehicle description for the subjects’ transportation was obtained.  Police continue to investigate.

12:16 pm – Theft from Vehicle – A vehicle was entered sometime overnight and a laptop was stolen.

12:33 pm – MVC – A two vehicle collision resulted in approximately $25,000 of damage and two tows.

12:50 pm – Drug Trafficking – Property was seized.  A subject was charged and released for court at a later date.

2:10 pm – Fire Call – There was a small fire in the front porch of a residence.

4:20 pm – Dispute – This was an ongoing issue with a neighbour.  The complainant just wishes information to be documented at this time.

5:26 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located in good health.

5:44 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle driven by a subject with no licence was seized for 30 days.

6:02 pm – Dispute – There was a neighbour dispute over parking.  Parties involved were advised to speak to the city to obtain proper permits and signage.

7:14 pm – Noise Bylaw – Excessive noise was reported.  The person responsible was advised to turn it down.  The report is to be forwarded to court.

7:59 pm – Theft – A subject was caught stealing merchandise.  The subject was detained and charged, and was held in custody for court on outstanding charges.

8:58 pm – Shoplifting – A subject was caught stealing merchandise. The items were recovered; however, the suspect fled from LPO.  A plate number and vehicle description were obtained for the suspect.  The suspect was spoken to and warned of their actions.

9:53 pm – Shoplifting – Three adult subjects stole potato chips from a business and fled on foot.  The area was searched; however, they were not located.  Police continue to investigate.

12:50 am – Suspicious Person – A subject was waiting outside of an apartment complex.  Police attended and spoke with the subject, who was waiting for their roommate to get home as they don’t have a key.

1:49 am – Noise Bylaw – The TV was blaring in an apartment - ongoing issue.  The tenant didn’t answer the door, and this is still under investigation to speak with them.

2:25 am – Noise Bylaw – A loud stereo was playing in an apartment - ongoing issue. The tenant didn’t answer the door, and this is still under investigation to speak with them.
