Moose Jaw Police responded to 32 calls for service.

9:22 am – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS with a patient.

10:05 am – Well Being Check – A family member hadn’t been heard from for a few days. The subject was located and was in fine health.

10:14 am – MVA Over – A two vehicle accident occurred. There were no injuries, the damage was estimated at $10,000, one vehicle required towing, and one driver was issued a ticket.

12:19 pm – Fire Call – Police were called to assist the fire department at a fire call. Police evacuated the building while the fire department put out a small fire in the boiler room.

3:59 pm – Theft Under – A subject had a cheque stolen from their mailbox and later cashed. Police continue to investigate.

4:32 pm – Other Bylaw – Police located and warned a driver of a snow machine within city limits.

4:59 pm – Intoxicated Person – An intoxicated person was transported home safely and left in the care of a sober care giver.

6:05 pm – Dispute – A patron was yelling at staff and was issued a ban letter and left upon police request.

6:56 pm – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of someone being too noisy in an apartment building. The subject was warned under the noise bylaw.

7:09 pm – Abandoned Vehicle – A vehicle was confirmed not stolen. Police contacted the registered owner who would be making arrangements to pick up the vehicle.

7:26 pm – Dispute – A dispute between two parties took place. Police spoke to both parties, and they were advised to stop all contact.

10:49 pm – Assault – A subject was arrested for fraud and assault, and is to be released in the morning with conditions for a later court date.

11:32 pm – Loud Party – There was a report of a party with underage drinking. Police attended and found just a couple of friends hanging out together and no cause for police concern.

12:12 am – Mischief – Police located a couple of people going through donations. The subjects put the items back, cleaned up the area and were sent on their way.
