Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 37 calls for service.

7:33 am – Hit and Run – A vehicle had driven off the road and left damage to property.

9:40 am - Assault – A physical altercation took place between two individuals. Police mediated the situation.

9:50 am – Domestic – A domestic dispute occurred at a residence. This is still under investigation to speak with all parties involved.

11:04 am – Hit and Run – A hit and run occurred and there were two posts that were damaged as a result.

11:56 am – Fraud – The complainant was advised this was a civil matter between the complainant and a company.

1:03 pm – Suspicious Person – There was a report of a person in a residential neighbourhood acting suspicious and going through garbage cans. The area was checked and the person was gone upon police arrival.

3:00 pm – Dispute – The file is to be forwarded to Community and Strategic Services Unit for mediation.

4:20 pm – Well Being Check – There was a report of a person out walking with a walker who seemed unsteady on their feet. The subject was located and spoken to, and they advised police that they have a disability and that they are feeling fine and just making their way slowly.

8:04 pm – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of an unwanted person knocking on the door and tossing rocks at the window. Police attended and spoke to both parties involved. One party was advised to leave the residence and was warned that if they returned they could be issued a trespassing ticket.

8:22 pm – Noise Bylaw – Police spoke to all parties involved. This is still under investigation to speak with City Bylaw Enforcement.

10:39 pm – Dispute – There was a landlord-tenant dispute. Police spoke to all parties involved and advised them to speak with The Rentalsmen.

12:07 am – Theft – There was a theft from an unlocked vehicle. Parking meter change and cigarettes were taken, and this was reported for information purposes.
