Moose Jaw Police responded to 39 calls for service.

7:31 am – Dispute – A dispute between two parties was mediated. Moose Jaw Police also located a subject missing out of another jurisdiction, and the police agency was notified.

9:27 am – Impaired Driving – A subject was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08. The vehicle was seized for 30 days and the subject had an indefinite licence suspension.

10:50 am – Impaired Driving – The subject was charged with refusal.

11:43 am – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight a window was smashed out on a vehicle. A person entered the vehicle and stole several items. The loss is estimated at $3,900, and police are investigating to view video footage.

12:55 pm – Shoplifting – A subject stole merchandise from a store. Police are to view video footage.

12:59 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was located sleeping on private property.  Police assisted the subject in obtaining a room at the Riverside Mission.

1:34 pm – Possible Theft of Vehicle – There was a report of someone driving with a flat tire. It was determined that the subject was the owner of the vehicle and just got a flat. No further police action was needed.

3:59 pm – Police assisted another agency in locating an individual and returned the individual to their care.

4:24 pm – Threats – A subject was threatening to get violent if the complainant didn’t leave the room. The subject is to be charged with uttering threats.

4:36 pm – Break and Enter – A lock was cut on a storage unit and some property was taken. Police continue to investigate.

4:39 pm – Driving Dangerous – There was a report of dangerous driving with a plate number obtained. This is still under investigation to speak to the registered owner.

5:58 pm – A complainant received threats from another person. Police continue to investigate.

6:30 pm – There was a report of a gas drive off valued at $110. Police are investigating to view video footage.

6:35 pm – There was a report of a gas drive off valued at $50. Police are investigating to view video footage.

7:25 pm – There was a dispute between two parties. Police spoke with one party at the police station, who didn’t wish to provide a statement for further police involvement.

7:40 pm – Impaired Driver – A driver was seen swerving all over, slowing down and speeding up. The subject was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08. The vehicle was seized for 30 days.

9:55 pm – ASD Demand – The result was a warning, a three day vehicle seizure and a 3 day licence suspension.

11:58 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties with one subject deciding to go stay with family for the night.

2:03 am - Dispute – There was a dispute in a licensed establishment between two males, with one male pulling a hand gun on another male. No one was injured, and police continue to investigate.

2:09 am – Barking Dog – There was a report of a dog barking for the last 15 minutes. There was no dog barking upon police arrival, and the complainant is to provide a statement for possible charges.

2:39 am – Well Being Check – A complainant was concerned for the well-being of a friend. The subject was located in fine health.

2:55 am – Dispute – This occurred between two parties, and police spoke to both parties involved. One party agreed to stay at a friend’s for the night, and the dispute was mediated.
