Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service.

8:30 am – Attempted Theft – An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight. No property appears to be missing.

9:07 am – Theft Under – A complainant rented out an enclosed cargo trailer and it wasn’t returned on the date as per agreement. The suspect was spoken with and will return it today.

9:33 am – MVA Over – There was a two vehicle MVA with one vehicle failing to yield to a vehicle on the right, causing $15,000 in damage.  Two vehicles were towed, and there were no injuries.

10:58 am – Dispute – A complainant didn’t like a sign that was put up in the window. The suspect took the sign down and the situation was mediated.

11:31 am – Threats – A complainant received a threatening text message. A statement is to be obtained for further investigation.

12:33 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – Police received a complaint of four males trying to start a fire with a pile of leaves.  The area was checked and the suspects were gone upon police arrival.

2:42 pm – Attempted Theft – An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight. No property appears to be missing.

4:15 pm – Landlord/ Tenant Situation – A complainant was trying to load up property and the landlord was refusing to give the belongings back. The complainant had all belongings back before police arrival, and the situation was mediated.

7:11 pm - MVA Over – There was a two vehicle collision resulting in approximately $30,000 of damage, minor injuries and two tows.

7:13 pm - Well Being Check – A subject was located at home and was advised of options for further assistance.

9:49 pm – Breach Court Order – A subject was found to be in breach of court orders.  The subject was charged and released for court at a later date.

11:28 pm – Evade Police – A vehicle fled from a Highway Transport Officer attempting to conduct a vehicle stop.  The vehicle was located in a parking lot. The driver was charged and the vehicle was seized for 30 days.
