Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

9:00 am – Warrants were issued for three subjects who failed to attend Moose Jaw Police Service for fingerprints.

10:38 am – There was a dispute between two parties over custody of children. Both parties were advised to see legal counsel, and the dispute was mediated.

10:48 am – There was a report of a suspicious male walking around in a private parking lot. The subject was located and spoken to and advised to stay off of private property.

11:21 am – There was a report of graffiti on a building, and this was reported for information purposes.

12:42 pm – An intoxicated male was located passed out on private property. The subject was arrested for being intoxicated in public and was brought back to the station, where he was held until sober.

3:24 pm – Police, Fire and EMS attended to a single vehicle accident. There were no injuries as a result of the accident, but it was determined the driver suffered a medical emergency. The driver was taken to the hospital by EMS. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $10,000 and the vehicle required towing.

4:31 pm – Police were requested to assist to locate a child who hadn’t come home from school. The child was located and returned home. The child had gotten off at the wrong bus stop.

5:08 pm – A complainant reported some unwanted phone calls. Police spoke to the complainant and discussed some options. Police will be following up with further investigation into the incident.

5:10 pm – Sometime within the past 24 hours, someone dented the driver’s side door of a vehicle, and the damage was estimated at $100. This was reported for information purposes.

6:36 pm – There was a report of an erratic driver swerving on the road with the plate number obtained. The driver was located after pulling over and going into a business and was found to have a suspended driver’s licence. The driver was issued a ticket for driving while suspended.

7:13 pm – There was a report of a dog barking all day. Police attended to the area and located the dogs. The owner was spoken to about the complaint and was warned under the barking dog bylaw.

11:07 pm – A complainant reporting some harassing communication by another person. This is still under investigation.
