Moose Jaw Police responded to 52 calls for service.

8:02 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated that there were multiple people attempting to get into vehicles. Police attended to area but did not see anyone that matched the description given.

8:58 am – Disturbance – A person in the area was unwanted and believed to be living in the trees in the area. Police are investigating to see if they can try and locate the suspect and speak with them.

9:36 am – Noise Bylaw – A person in the area was screaming excessively. Police attended to area, but all was quiet. The person in question was not answering door of the residence.

10:11 am – Drugs Possess – Persons appearing with drugs in the doorway of a building. Police attended, but all persons had moved along.

10:50 am – Unwanted Guest – An argument over an item was escalating. The complainant requested Police to assist in removing the guest. Police attended, but the unwanted guest had left prior to Police arrival.

11:47 am – Hit & Run – A vehicle was hit in the parking lot, causing damage to the front grill. Approximately $2,000 of damage was done, with no paint transfer. No suspects or witnesses.

12:57 pm – Hit & Run – A rear quarter panel was damaged sometime this morning. Approximately $1,000 of damage and a white paint transfer. No suspects or witnesses.

1:17 pm – Trespass – A person who is banned from the premises showed up to a business. The complainant brought video for Police. This is under investigation.

1:29 pm – Theft Under – A debit card was taken by someone staying at a residence. Under investigation for charges.

2:45 pm – Weapons Call – A person was seen by people walking down street with what looked like a knife. Police attended and spoke with the parties involved who turned over the item that was found during their walk to the park.

3:52 pm – Disturbance – Persons were going through dumpsters, making a mess in the area. Police attended and spoke to the individual and had them move along.

3:58 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – Two small persons were seen unattended. Police attended to the area and spoke with another party involved, requesting they keep a closer eye on all subjects.

5:57 pm – Shoplifting – A person attempted to shoplift items from a business but was intercepted. Under investigation to view video.

6:01 pm – Breach of Recognizance – A complainant stated that a person breached an order put into place. Under investigation to obtain statement.

6:07 pm – Intoxicated Person – Two persons were wandering an area seemingly intoxicated, yelling at people in the area. Police attended to the area, but did not find anyone as described.

6:22 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated they had seen someone get out of a vehicle, switch licence plates, and change clothing. Police attended to the area but did not find any vehicles as described.

7:54 pm – Hit & Run – A motorized vehicle was tipped over in a parking lot. It was suspected another vehicle had hit it. Under investigation to view video.

9:25 pm – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered sometime the night prior, and a handful of miscellaneous change was taken. Reported for informational purposes.

9:45 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A vehicle parked in an empty lot across from the complainant’s residence. Police patrolled the area, but did not find any vehicles out of place.

10:32 pm – Domestic – Two persons were involved in a dispute. Police attended to the residence and gained entry, but the persons involved fled the scene. The area was checked, but the persons were not located.

11:42 pm – Suspicious Person – A group of people were walking in an area, possibly going into a yard. Police patrolled the area but did not find anyone as per the description given.

1:11 am – Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle was parked outside of a residence for a length of time. Police attended and spoke with the driver, who pulled over to take a phone call. No further action was required.

2:55 am – Suspicious Occurrence – A vehicle was parked outside of a business running, and two occupants inside were not responsive. Police attended, and one person was charged with In Care and Control While Ability Impaired, and Exceed .08.
