It was a wild one at the Red Knight Arena this weekend, as the Peewee AA Warriors played their last game of 2019 Friday and tied Weyburn 6-6.

The Warriors went up 4-3 after the first period with two power play goals, an even strength goal anda shorthanded marker. While Carter Hudyma completed his hat trick in the game with the only goal of the second, and Tyson Ross added a power play goal early in the third to go up 6-3, the Warriors allowed a pair of power play goals to Weyburn and then the tying marker with less than a minute on the clock.

The Warriors are in third place in the six-team South Sask division of the provincial peewee AA hockey league, five points behind Yorkton for second and two behind fourth place Weyburn.

The Warriors next league action is January 9 at home, once again to Weyburn.
