It was an evening of excitement, entertainment and music.

People from Moose Jaw, residents from just outside of our city, and supporters from across the country came out to cheer on the brave gentlemen who crawled up on top of animals ready for the arena.

PBR returned to the notorious city for the fourth consecutive year Saturday night but this time organizers went above and beyond for ticket holders. Animal rights protesters lined the entranced just outside of Mosaic Place, but as people made their way in the adrenaline ensued of the night ahead. Seats were filled with people ready to cheer on Saskatchewan's best.

As the night progressed bull riders from across the country, some from the prairies, took their turns attempting to make it past not only eight seconds on top of a bull but also hoping to win the judges approval and points.

Following the actual bull riding, competitors were challenged with out-running a bull on foot, one of who was requested to do it twice finishing his run with a somersault off of the animal's back.

Once the champion was crowned he was given a guitar and attendees were able to finish off the night being dazzled by the musical talents of Washboard Union. The Canadian country trio played their top hits as well as classic hits from the country music genre.
