'Home'... a new song released by Nicholas Hennink and Nebulus Entertainment was recently released, and made to bring more attention to mental health.

Hennink is a local paramedic and musician, and wanted to sign a light on the importance of mental health and first responders who suffer from PTSD or other related disorders.

"The story behind it is basically about reaching out to people dealing with depression, anxiety, or addiction," Hennink explained. "Basically if this song can touch anybody, even one person, and say 'you know what, there's hope out there and you're not alone and there's resources' then we've done our job."

When writing this song, Hennink was a little nervous about making it. His producer, Jared Robinson, heard the potential in the song.

"This is the one song that I didn't really want to bring forward," Hennink said. "It didn't feel like it was gonna fit on the album and then Jared said 'well play the song for me' and I was like 'okay'. Whipped the guitar out, played this song, wasn't too sure about it and Jared, being the musical genius that he is, said no, this is the one."

Along with the release of the single, there is a contest to help spread the word. If you go to their Facebook page and share their post, you'll be entered for a prize. Also, all profits and a donation of $100 will be donated to tema.ca to support first responders and their families.
