The court is now reviewing whether or not a trial will be held in the case of Leo Lemay and his connection, if any, to the death of Gerhard Gellner.

There's a publication ban on all evidence presented so we can't tell you much. However, the preliminary hearing for 32 year old Leo Joseph Lemay got underway in Moose Jaw Provincial Court Monday.

Lemay is facing charges of 2nd degree murder and arson in connection to the death of 52 year old Gerhard Gellner last fall. It was October 11th when Moose Jaw firefighters put out a blaze in a Lillooet Street apartment and found Gellner's lifeless body.

The preliminary hearing is expected to continue through Wednesday.
