Outdoor enthusiasts have been lamenting the lack of snow this winter as snowmobiles remain largely in the shed this year and cross country skis remain on the wall.

We've told you about the fire ban down near Cypress Hills due to a lack of snow and now more concerns of low moisture are coming to light. Environment Canada says many regions have had extremely low amounts of snow and what we have received is being absorbed into the atmosphere, rather than being collected in the ground.

Farmers were buzzing about the lack of moisture at the Western Canadian Crop Production Show in Saskatoon saying if they don't get a good dump of snow soon, they'll have to pray for rain.
