The Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) has blocked off the area around 4th Ave NW and Ross St.

This comes after reports of shots being fired in the area. It has been reported to Discover Moose Jaw that the police service's Tactical Unit is on the scene.

Officers have launched a drone in the Stadacona St W area in search of the suspect. 

Police are asking those living in the area to remain in their houses until they have cleared the area. 

Also, Discover Moose Jaw has learned that Central Collegiate has locked down for the time being.
