John Mellencamp performs at Mosaic Place on Sunday night.

John Mellencamp blew the roof off of Mosaic Place as his "No Better Than This" tour rolled into the Friendly City on Sunday night.  Fans came from far and wide to pack the house for the 80s rocker and he didn't disappoint, performing a hit laden show.

Paul Tuss came six hours from Havre, Montana just to see Mellencamp and says it was outstanding, "I would do it again in a heartbeat.  It was worth every penny.

"We checked and he wasn't coming anywhere in Montana, but he has a big Canadian tour and this was the closest place to us, so we came up just for the day," said an excited Tuss after the show.

Tuss added that Mosaic Place was an amazing facility for a concert, "Wow what an outstanding facility.  I do economic development in Montana and I'm jealous of Mosaic Place."

Mellencamp had the crowd on their feet from the start of the show as he opened with the hard hitting "Authority Song".  The hits continued to flow from there with the biggest cheers going to an acoustic rendition of "Jack and Diane".  The concert came to a close with a run of hits that ended with "R.O.C.K in the USA" and "Hurts So Good".
