The Moose Jaw Miller Express are hoping a day off doesn't cool them off. The Millers have won three of their last four games, including their last two.

Those games are in the middle of an 11-game-in-12-days stretch for the Western Major Baseball League team.

The Miller Express had Monday off and are set to play six games in six nights, beginning Tuesday night with a battle against the Brooks Bombers.

"They cleaned up some defensive issues and we won a couple of 'between the ears' battles, and we have some private, inside the clubhouse challenges that we issued and we won those," said Miller Express Head Coach Michael Hunt, explaining some better play of late to bring the team's record to 4-5.

Hunt says he has the team focused on a few key areas before each game, hoping that keeps them on track.

"We keep asking the same question before the game, and remind them during the game to stay on those three challenges."

Hunt, who says the challenges are for "in the clubhouse only", added that it was nice having a bit of a break in the schedule, saying "it was only one day off so it's not like we can get too rusty."

The Miller Express host Brooks tonight (7:05 p.m.), then Medicine Hat Wednesday at Ross Wells Park.  For the rest of the schedule, click here.
