As most Saskatchewan families were celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends, many were visiting family in hospital after a long list of accidents on local highways and roads.

Here in Moose Jaw there was a three vehicle accident at the corner of 9th and Coteau Friday afternoon that sent one person to hospital with minor injuries. A short time later Moose Jaw and District EMS were sent to Chamberlain for a head on collision where six people needed treatment, two were taken to hospital in serious condition.

Jump ahead to Saturday morning when a 32 year old man died after a crash near Fort Qu'Appelle, his passenger was sent to hospital. It was a single vehicle accident and no word on a cause. Saturday afternoon a motorcycle and an SUV crashed near White City, east of Regina. One person was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

Then Saturday night around 9:30pm, a semi and a truck collided at the corner of Thatcher Driver and the TransCanada Highway in Moose Jaw.  One person was sent to Regina in with serious injuries. A couple hours later, a 22 year old man was killed when a vehicle crossed the centreline and struck a southbound truck, killing the driver of the truck near Lloydminster.

Sunday morning just before 3 o'clock, Moose Jaw Police were searching the area around Ross School after a single vehicle rollover on Willow Avenue.  The driver of the vehicle apparently fled the scene. The crash is still under investigation but alcohol was a factor.

Finally, around 2:30 Sunday afternoon, a car ended up wedged beneath a semi-trailer's axle on Highway 16 near Langham. A 25 year old woman driving the car was taken to Saskatoon with severe injuries.
