“The country theme is to recognize our rural community and all the farmers and ag partners that have donated, close to if not over half of the funds that have come in for our capital campaign,” said Vice-chair Sara Bryan.

Byran added that tickets are going quickly for the event.

“We are sitting around, I believe, about 320 tickets sold so far. It’s going to be a tremendous turnout. We’re lucky that we have the support of the SHA and the Ministry of Health and Tim McLeod will be attending and sharing some word with us,” she said.

All funds raised will go towards creating the hospice wing at Pioneer Lodge. Spurs and Stillettos takes place April 12 at the Moose Jaw Events Centre with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Sasktix.ca
