After the Highway Hotline issued a 'Travel Not Recommended' status for southwest Saskatchewan over the weekend, highways aren't as bad as they were, but you'll still have to be a bit cautious.

Currently, the Highway Hotline is listing highways north, south and west of Moose Jaw with displaying winter conditions, wet and subject to freezing, icy with slippery sections, and some areas with fog.

Long story short, if you've gotta hit the highways  - take your time. Its recommended you check out the Highway Hotline before you leave, just so you know what you could be in for.
