The first show since March is set to take place at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre this Saturday, as Andino Suns will be hitting the stage as part of the Festival of Words.

General Manager of the Cultural Centre, Derik Cronan, says he's had to cancel over 50 shows and events since March, including concerts, graduations, plays, and dance recitals.

"It's been interesting rescheduling all of these shows and trying to find new dates because we still don't know when we will be able to open to full capacity. We are doing our best in order to reschedule these dates and have the shows go ahead on their rescheduled dates, but right now some things are still up in the air even though we are gradually starting to reopen. We are still running with a very limited capacity."

Although he's looking forward to the upcoming concert this weekend, there will be a number of guidelines they have to follow.

"The regulations allow up to 30% capacity, but we decided 75 people (17%) is a comfortable number where everyone will be able to socially distance and where we think we can manage quite well to get people into the theatre and out of the theatre following the show."

Facemasks are optional but encouraged. Public washrooms will be open during the show, and bottled water will be sold, however, the bar will be closed.

Tickets to this weekend's show are still available, but there aren't many left. The Cultural Centre has recently reopened their box office as well, so if you're interested in attending, you can stop by to grab your ticket.
