In this pandemic, many are struggling with many different things. One of those things is finding one place to get information and services related to COVID-19.

Well, lucky for you thats why the COVID Community Response Committee is promoting 211 Saskatchewan with a number of agencies which gathers a number of different resources together to help people find the support they need whether it be income support, violence and abuse support, and more.

Christine Boyczuk is part of the committee.

"So 211 basically has information for health, mental health, food security, housing and that type of information that people might at this time be struggling with more than they might otherwise."

Boyczuk also detailed some of the needs that were identified that influenced this idea.

"Some of the needs that were identified were information access, food security, and transportation because of physical disabilities, age, or not wanting to get out in the community were having difficulty. Were tackling food security and our next will likely be transportation."

Boyczuk added that you can call 211 or visit http://sk.211.ca/.
