Looking to support local this holiday season?

The City of Moose Jaw and Moose Jaw District Chamber of Commerce has launched a new initiative where you can shop at over 50 local businesses - all online, and all at one place.

It's called Moose Jaw Marketplace.

Manager of Economic Development, Jim Dixon explains.

"Visit MooseJawMarketPlace.ca and you shop. There are currently 50 businesses that are in the program at this point, which we are very happy with, it's more than we initially expected so there's obviously some buy in. You go, you shop, add to your cart, check out and you make your purchase."

The easy-to-use website is designed so you can shop at multiple local businesses, add your purchases all to one cart, and pay with one transaction.

"We're asking citizens to invest in their community, 'Shop the Jaw', whatever you want to say. We're trying to make it easy, trying to support local businesses. This is a really good opportunity to invest in your local community."

If you are a business owner and would like to sign up to be a part of the Moose Jaw Marketplace, you can still get involved. You can click the link here to find out how.
