It was a cool start to the day in southern Saskatchewan as a new system starts to roll through. The leading edge caused a significant drop in temperature Sunday night, leading us to below freezing at one point Monday morning.

There was a frost warning issued for some areas and that'll have local green thumbs checking their gardens. It'll be an up and down week with some normal end of summer type days and then come cooler ones as the first day of autumn approaches Friday.

The unsettled system could lead to some moisture across the region as well. Forecasters will likely get a better sense of what's going to happen as the day continues but for now, nearly every day has some sort of moisture connected to it.
