At Prince Albert Saturday, Central's Jadyn Palaschuk won gold at cross country provincials in midget girls.

With a time of 11 minutes, 17 seconds, she was 46 seconds better than the second place finisher from Yorkton.

Central's great performances all around led to the school wining the 4A division, with Peacock placing third in 4A schools.

Also in the midget girls, Peacock’s Aria Swanson finished in sixth with a time of 12 minutes, eight seconds, and Morgan Capili of Vanier was in 20th at 12:52.

In the junior girls, Akoul Riak of Central was fourth at 15:20 and Brooklyn Roney of Peacock was 10th at 16:21. Alyssa Roney of Peacock was fifth in the senior girls at 15:48, Caitlyn Johnson of Peacock was 17th at 16:53 and Central’s Vera Gauvin was 20th at 17:03

Junior boys division saw Jacob King of Central finish ninth with a time of 14:06.
