I get it.  The hockey season, like everything else, stopped in its tracks late last winter when COVID-19 took over.  Four months later, the boys are back on the ice - The National Hockey League has intentions of crowning a Stanley Cup champion before the next hockey season starts in the fall.

I hope it goes well.  I really do.  But, I wondered about my fellow hockey fans and if they'd be watching the games on these hot, summer nights.  So, I went o Facebook and asked.  They responded.

A quick count shows me 17 people are all-in and loving the fact they can watch some hockey on TV while 16 respondents says they're not interested and some of them are, in fact, hockey fans.

One guys says, "Just start it up when it's safe to do so in the fall or 2021."

Another guy says, "Ya, this is tough to wrap my head around."

But, on the other side, a die-hard fan says he'll be at the cabin with a "roaring fire and watching the Oilers on the big screen".

And, another friend writes, "After four months of nothing but COVID and politics, it's a welcome distraction, my friend."

Ya, maybe he's right.
