Some had signs, some seemed angry and at least one on a microphone said some terrible things about our Chief Medical Health Officer.  Most in attendance were not wearing masks.  That was their whole thing -  It was an "anti-mask rally" on the steps of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.

You know who this is offending more than others?  Our doctors and nurses.

Dr. Hassan Masri is an ICU physician and associate professor of medicine and critical care at the University of Saskatchewan.

You know what he said yesterday?   Let me quote him.

"The rally being held in Regina is a slap in the face of those 11 people who died today, it's a slap in the face of all health care workers, it's a slap in the face to anyone who understood the true meaning of citizenship, it's a slap in the face of those who are willing to tolerate small inconveniences so others can live...Your inability to handle today's tiny inconveniences like wearing a mask is going to cause more death and hospitalization."

"Go home, wear your mask and have some respect for yourself and others..."

Thank you, Dr. Masri.
