As the snow melts into our distant memories, camping season in Saskatchewan is upon us.

Reservations for seasonal sites have begun, while group bookings can be reserved starting April 4. Nightly sites will be available between April 8-18.

All campers will need to create new accounts at Saskparks.goingtocamp.com

The high demand for the parks has led to a queuing system. Anyone wanting to be among the first into the queue will need to be on the site between 6:40 a.m. and 7 a.m. Anyone entering after will be placed at the back of the line.

The schedule for nightly reservations is as follows:

-Monday, April 8: Blackstrap, Pike Lake

-Tuesday, April 9: Break — No Reservations

- Thursday, April 11: Saskatchewan Landing, The Battlefords
