Business owners are in the middle of replacing equipment and materials following a structure fire on Manitoba street this week.

Firefighters were called around midnight on Thursday to a building just off of Main Street that caught fire, which had a handful of businesses operating out of it.

Almost all the owners have taken to social media to let their clientele or customers know that they will not be working out of the damaged building for at least three months.

Owners were told Friday that all items in the building must stay and everything must be replaced. Crews will also be inside cleaning up and completing needed renovations over the next few months, forcing these businesses to establish a plan for the foreseeable future.

Due to insurance, most of them have moved their operations to alternate buildings for the time being.
