The biggest weekend of the season so far for the Moose Jaw Warriors, on and off the ice, is coming up this weekend at the Hangar.

“We have special weekends throughout the season and we’re excited about what is planned for this weekend,” Warriors director of business operations Jaret Schneider said.

SATURDAY, OCT 28 VS PRINCE GEORGE – 7PM

The Warriors host their annual Military Appreciation Night on Saturday with members of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, 15 Wing, Saskatchewan Dragoons and Royal Canadian Legion in attendance for the night.

“Military Appreciation Night had previously been Snowbirds Night, but has evolved into a night where we can honour all of our local military members,” Schneider said.

“It’s a fun night to have military members in our community at the game, honour and recognize them.”

There will be a silent auction for the special edition military themed jerseys that the Warriors will be wearing in the game. The net proceeds will go to Support Our Troops.

A new game night feature will also debut ahead of puck drop that you don’t want to miss.

The game also features two of the top teams in the country going head-to-head with the seventh-ranked Warriors facing the third-ranked Cougars.

SUNDAY, OCT 29 VS PRINCE ALBERT – 2PM

The first Sunday afternoon game of the season is a big one.

Kids can dress up in their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat at the Moose Jaw Events Centre concessions.

Also be sure to bring your skates and helmets as there will be a skate with the Warriors and Morty after the game. Fans will have a chance to hit the ice and get autographs from their favourite Warriors.

Mystery pucks also return to the concourse ahead of the game. For just $10, you can get a signed puck by one of the Warriors.
