"Life Can Change in a Moment"

That's the theme this year at the Family First Radiothon as we strive to raise $150,000.00 for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation to purchase new, state-of-the-art medical equipment for our Dr. FH Wigmore Regional Hospital.

The new technology is crucial to saving lives of critical care patients.

The Health Foundation is telling us, "Dramatic advances in medical technologies are rapidly transforming the delivery of critical care" and our hospital "needs the next generation of medical technology to help patients.  The lives of friends and family depend on it."

Nicole Kennedy knows all about it.  A registered nurse, Kennedy is the Manager of Clinical Services in Emergency, ICU and Respiratory Therapy at the local hospital.

She's joining us in advance of the Family First Radiothon to detail the equipment we need and how it will help make the local health care system better in the immediate future.
