Live interactive demonstrations are a big part of this week’s Ag in Motion event.

Paul Roper is the event’s demonstration coordinator and says demonstrations begin at 12:30 pm with the Planting and Seeding demonstration featuring the Salford drill.

"Then at 1:15 pm, we have the tillage demonstrations and we have eight companies participating in that. We also have a granular fertilizer demonstration at 11:00am and 3:00pm, and then of course we've got the individual exhibitor demonstrations - the exhibitors can take them over to the demonstration plots throughout the day to demonstrate more equipment in real field conditions," he said.

Leah Olson is President of the Agricultural Manufactures Association of Canada and talks about the importance of the show to the industry.

"It's an immediate feedback to our members as to how the equipment is being used but it's also really good to showcase innovation and some of the new products that can make farming easier, it can make it cheaper, " said Olson.

She adds Rob O’Connor and the crew have done a great job in getting the people out.

Ag in Motion – Western Canada’s first Outdoor Farm Expo wraps up today at 5:30 near Langham.
