Moose Jaw Police responded to 62 calls for service.  

8:04 am – Wildlife Act – A cougar was reported in the area, and conservation was notified. 

8:36 am – Assist Locate – The subject was found and was fine. 

9:31 am– Disturbance – A subject was causing a scene in a business. Police attended and the subject was sent on their way. 

9:41 am – Theft of Auto – The vehicle was taken overnight. A stolen auto form was signed. 

10:54 am – Wildlife Act – A cougar was in the area. The area was searched and they were unable to locate the cougar. 

10:55 am – Break and Enter – A shed was entered in past 2 weeks and items were taken. This was reported for information purposes. 

11:05 am – Break and Enter – A storage unit was entered sometime over the past 3 weeks. The lock was picked. There was no damage, and items were taken. 

11:43 am – Theft Under – Items were taken from a business. This is still under investigation. 

12:03 pm – Mischief – A vehicle was damaged in the past few days. There was no video, no suspects, no witnesses, and approximately $500 of damage. 

12:37 pm – Mischief – A vehicle’s rear window was broken. This is still under investigation. 

1:34 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked blocking a homeowner’s driveway. A ticket was issued. 

1:46 pm – Assault – Three people were charged with assault and threats. Two were held for court, and two vehicles were seized. 

1:52 pm – Mischief – A vehicle was entered in a business parking lot. Only change was taken. This is still under investigation for video. 

1:59 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle has been parked for 2 weeks and hasn’t moved. The tires were marked and police are to check in a couple of days. 

2:17 pm – Driving Erratic – There was a report of a driver on a cell phone and tailgating. This is still under investigation for them to speak to the owner. 

2:40 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was driven by a suspended driver. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 60 days. 

3:31 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was driven by a suspended driver. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 60 days. 

3:52 pm – Theft Under – An employee was caught stealing at a business. This is still under investigation for charges. 

4:25 pm – Intoxicated Person – A person was arrested for public intoxication. A ticket was issued. 

4:26 pm – Weapons Call – Kids pointed airsoft gun at people. Parents were to be notified. 

5:23 pm – Recovered Stolen Auto – A vehicle was seized and was to be processed by ident. 

6:03 pm – Driving Erratic – There was a report of a vehicle speeding and spinning its tires. This is still under investigation for police to speak to the owner. 

6:04 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked for 1 week. The tires have been marked. 

7:09 pm – Mischief – A subject damaged a vehicle with an object. This is still under investigation. 

8:09 pm – Wildlife Act – There was a report of a cougar in the area. The area was checked and cleared. 

9:43 pm – Alarm Call – There was a commercial burglary alarm, and police responded. Attempted break and enter. This is still under investigation. 

10:29 pm – Assault – This is still under investigation for possible Assault charges. 

4:04 am – Disturbance – A subject was yelling in the area. The subject was spoken to and was sent on their way. 

Police executed nine warrants.
