The Moose Jaw Stray Cat Rescue and Protection Society - better known as SCRAPS - has put together their yearly critter filled calendar, only this time, with a special twist.

Jody Chell volunteers with SCAPS. She explains more:

"We do have a yearly calendar that we put out but this one is just a little extra special. Instead of having twelve months of kitties, we have twelve months of essential workers that have either adopted from us or foster for us. We really wanted to focus on and honour those essential workers that have been working so hard during this pandemic."

Chell hopes that the calendar will help raise awareness and respect for all the essential workers who have put their lives on the line for us this year.

"It's so cute, we've got some really cool pictures of our foster cats and the people who have adopted them so it turned out really nice."

You can pick up your calendar at the 9 Lives Boutique at the Town and Country Mall, or by calling 306-692-1399. Proceeds will go towards helping to track and neuter the stray cat population in Moose Jaw.
