The Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina will be re-opening its doors Sunday. It had been closed to the public due to public health guidelines that are in place to combat the spread of COVID-19.

"I am very pleased that the museum will once again be open to the public," Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross said.  "The museum staff have worked tirelessly to prepare for this reopening and to welcome back visitors to experience everything the Royal Saskatchewan Museum has to offer in the safest way possible."

Visitors to the museum will be able to book their visits ahead of time via an online registration system. This will allow for pre-planning, and help to alleviate wait times, as only 30 guests will be allowed in the museum at a time. The time slot for each visit is one hour.

Public health guidelines will remain in place. This includes mask usage and physical distancing. It is also asked that those who are feeling unwell to stay home.
