With most farmers finishing up their seeding operations in the area for this year, most are looking back at a successful season with the exception of last years crop and some rain causing minor delays.

"It's been a decent year, we didn't have an influx of a lot grain movement in periods of time, but in a timely fashion we've been able to get there and move it," said Parrish and Heimbecker's General Manager Kerry Olson. "Going forward it looks much the same, we should be able to get the rest of that crop cleaned up and moved in decent time."

Olson noted that most producers had a smooth season and didn't hear of many reoccurring problems.

"A lot of good programs are going and we had some issues moving feed at decent prices for producers and trying to capture that market. We'll have a real good first quarter coming up and there's a little bit of grain left on the farm. We're hoping to get that in here and moved out and just continue with the good shipping that we're getting."

He said a good majority of folks are complete with their seeding operations and he's ready to get into the crop input season and "turn the page."
